hi my name is Amy I'm new here. I have had chickens before with my former partner but since he passed away it is just me now. I only have 16 chickens, small I know but I will increase when I feel comfortable to care for them. I have a naked neck rooster and different breeds of hens. I keep them because of the eggs and it gives me something to do. I am having an issue with egg production. they have stopped completely and I don't know the reason why or what I can do to help them. they look healthy have plenty of water and food, what am I doing wrong?

About chickens not laying eggs mine don’t lay them in the winter, but they start again in the spring.

Hi Amy, as others have said, once the daylight hours increase, you should see more eggs. Or maybe they free range and there's a secret nest you haven't found yet?
