Hi,
So my dad has had chickens for several years now and I absolutely love them. I bought my first house in 2008 and planned to get chickens right away. With everything going on with a new house and a new job, it's been easy to put off getting some baby chicks. This year might be different though, but first I have to find out my city's chicken laws. My dad says he thinks I can have them, but I would rather find out for sure on this site. Unfortunately, my city is not listed in the database on this site and I can't find any of the laws for Elyria, Oh 44035 online. If anyone can help me out, it would be greatly appreciated!!!

Also, what kind of bantams do you each prefer? I have an idea in mind of the ones I want, but I always like to hear what people think.

I personally like bantam wyandottes and Seramas but thats just me.. Do some research on the breeds and find the ones you like

I don't know about the specific ordinances for your town since I live in Pennsylvania. Does your town have a website that you could look it up? My town does, even though the details are kind of confusing...

Hmmm, my favorite kind of bantams? I don't know. Honestly, I do enjoy my Silkies, but they don't lay the best. If you do get chickens, maybe try a mix of different breeds to see what you like the best!
