Hey Everyone
Longtime Lurker finally joining up. I live in central Illinois. "SAHD" is "Stay At Home Dad"- I run a home based daycare center. Live at home w/ wife & 2 kids, 1 dog, & 2 Silkies right on the edge of our town- step off our property into fields. My running joke is it's the perfect house for us: I (farm kid) can look out back and see corn/ beans while my wife (city girl) can look out front and see neighbors. One corner of our property is slowly becoming my little (sub)urban homestead with my shop (my hobby is bladesmithing- blacksmithing specializing in custom knives), garden, and fruit vines/ trees.
