Hi All,
We live in derbyshire england and have kept poultry for some forty years, only a few at a time though. At present we have three banties for fun and four laying hens for eggs. We like fresh eggs and so do our children and grandchildren so we are considering some more hens, but we are always thinking about more poultry. I have kept geese, ducks and turkeys as well but now retired with less spending money and poultry food is costly. We have fox[or is it a dog?] trouble and so cannot let the hens roam in the orchard any longer I would love to know how to stop the fox and free range my hens again, but it is so sickening to find all your hens slaughtered.
I only let the hens out when I have time to sit and watch them now and aren't they comical.
