Hello,

I'm using the Brinsea Mini in my classroom and my first chick came out at about 5 am this morning. So far only one, though I did see another with a crack this morning but have not seen new developments since then. Today is day 21.
We didn't have a whole lot of luck candling 5 days ago, so we didn't want to throw any eggs out. But really, when do I decide no more are coming out?
When can I start fiddling, and how much?
Should I leave the shells in? (I'm worried about the humidity dropping!)
Any way to tell if more are coming at this point?
I leave them all in until they're all dry, up to 3 days is what I have read online.

Thank you!!!

I got the eggs from a neighbour and while they haven't hatched any chicks for years, they still keep roosters with their chickens. We only candled just the once, and I don't have any pictures yet, but I'll bring my camera back with me in the morning. :)

2 of my 7 hatched: "Caesar and Marty McFly". We're now day 24, and I've been reading other posts to wait until day 25, then dispose of them. Thoughts...?
