Howdy, Y’all
Joy and I hangout in West Texas and are expecting our “babies” the 1st week in April. Got the Coops and extended fencing finished during Spring Break at the High School. First-Timers, to be sure, as neither of us grew up on a farm - though Jack’s relatives had country properties.
Lots to learn, and hope we don’t hurt them due to our Hovering early on.

You won't hurt them hovering over them as babies. Gosh, I can't keep my hands off them.
But the more you handle them, the friendlier they become as they grow. Be careful holding them, use both hands, and they will be fine.
