Hello! I've been reading a bunch of info on this site since we got our flock a few weeks ago. I've already learned a ton from you all, so I went ahead and joined so I can keep current and learn more.
We have a flock of 10 chicks (4 buff orps, 4 birds sold as Ameraucanas, but I'm thinking EE, and 2 black sex-linked). We purchased them at TSC before I read a lot here, so I'm hoping I don't have too many roos. We also got 5 white pekin ducks, and the first two we got are starting to quack like females, but I'm trying not to get my hopes up too high before we see the curl (or lack of). Right now they are all together in our coop, but we will be building their yards separate. We'd like to free range them, but I don't know how feasible that is, so we are just going to build huge yards for them on our 1.26 acre lot.
