I'm hatching for the first time and have 60 quail eggs in the incubator. Do I need to remove the eggs from the turning racks and put them on the wire screen, or can I just unplug the turner? I'm worried that the temp will drop too much when I remove the turner from the incubator. I'm using a Hovabator 1588 Genisis if it makes a difference. Please advise.

Hope your hatch goes great!

On the day you lockdown, you should remove the turner. Can you imagine newborn chicks bouncing all over the place as it turns? Not very feasible.
