UPDATE: I thought I bought three roosters. (You guys knew better) Sorry it has taken me so long to reply back. I have since gone crazy and bought a total of 24 chickens. 21 have survived. One baby jumped fence and dog got, 2 did not make it past 1st week. So now I have 10 that are almost 18 weeks old and 11 that are 27 days old. Of course I keep them apart, but yet they can see each other. My new chicken coop AKA "The Chicken Condo " or the Chicken Ginger Bread House (as my husband calls it.) 8x12 wooden building. I went with one the has one regular door and two windows. I will have to modify it for the roosts and little chicken doors. I had planned on dividing the inside into four seperate living spaces as well as the runs. This should be okay right? Mostly to keep like chickens together. One is for the tiny chickens....fizzles. I may have gotten in over my head.
