1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
I have always wanted to raise chickens and finally got to it this summer.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now? 8
(3) What breeds do you have?
Well - cream legbars and cuckoo marans - but the marans all look rather different from each other!
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
I just love birds and chickens are so different from other birds I’ve had. They’re very fun.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Birding, photography
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
I am a stay at home mom to a 6 year old, 4 dogs, 2 parrots, 2 cockatiels, 3 parakeets, 2 tortoises and 2 geckos!

I found BYC earlier this year when I started researching chickens and have been browsing it ever since!
