Newbie from Florida

I am new to the art of having chickens, actually I don't even actually have chickens yet! I did just get a coop with a run from a neighbor and we are so excited. I live in Tampa, Fl with my husband, 17 month old son, and mother. She has wanted chickens since I can remember, but now we are aware it can be done even for city folk like ourselves. Just looking for any/all advice on what to do next, and how to do it.
