Newbie from Maine

I'm so glad I found you all!! I've been lurking for two weeks and figured it was time to introduce myself.

My hubby and I are getting our first chickens in May (we're getting pullets - 7 Rhode Island Red hens, 1 roo, and 8 Silver-laced Wyandotts). We have a coop already (a friend gave us his ice shack!!) and we're building the run next week. We are SO EXCITED!!!

I look forward to learning a ton from you all - and to getting to the point where I can contribute, as well!
