Newbie here! From the Philippines, my hubby and I started a piggery 4 years ago then we had to stop due to a financial loss. Recently we focused on breeding rabbits for rabbit meat.
Both sides of our family have been raising chickens way back 90's with different breeds and methods. But I myself would love to have my own free-range and poultry the soonest!
What I like about backyard chicken farms is having a fresh and organic supply of chickens and eggs. Well, not just chickens but also pigs, goats, and cows
We know how healthy they are because we are the one raising and taking good care of them.
We will be adding chickens and also pigs to our farm the soonest. We just started making rabbit houses and coops for the few chickens we have right now.
I found BYC on Facebook. I just knew about it a few days ago. I joined the community because it's my chance to be able to learn more and get fresh ideas from others' experiences.
I hope to gain ideas and learn from all the chicken lovers out there from their experiences. Cheers to an amazing farming journey!
