Newbie from Seattle, WA

I have been lurking for about a week and am learning a lot.
I am a SAHM with 4 girls 8, 6 and twins that are almost 3.
The 6 year old was in a preschool that hatched chicks and it is all she wants since - we failed her at Christmas by saying no and then again on her Birthday. She has now convinced me so here I am learning how to build (or where to buy) a nice coop and then 3 or 4 hens.

Hiya from Olympia! Aren't the little chickies fun? I've got kids your kid's ages (8, 6, 4, and 1.5) and my 6 yo is my biggest helper with the chickens too! He just wants to do everything for them!
