Hi, welcome to BYC! Pleased to meet you and thanks for joining us. There are other members from South Africa. One I know is @Zen Wildlife Rescuer.

Thanks for the amazing welcome every one
so in 2020 I had to make sure that we wont go hungry(prep) and started with 6 Potch koekoeks. sept 20(20.1) , 2 of them got broody. a Friend gave me some eggs and 22 days later the flock grew to 26.( pic 1

) the Smartieflock is now +- 7 1/2 months old with 8 R's and 12 Chicks and I can't let go......
I have to reduce the R's ,not seppose to have any where I live and can't eat all the eggs( pic 2

) soooo......... I build a incubator (pic 3

) then started some research and found that besides the amount of water the eggs drink when I'm not looking , they need O2 aswell mmmmmm. How mutch would they need ?
