(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
I‘ve helped with chickens for about 15 years, and finally got my own 5 months ago.

(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
7 (Started with 2...)

(3) What breeds do you have?
Buff Orp, Olive Egger (I hope-she hasn’t laid yet) 2 Black Marans, 3 Silkies (1 hatched last week!)

(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
Eggs! And they’re comical.

(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Gardening, sewing, DIY

I love this forum! It answered so many questions when I was incubating eggs with my preschool class. Thanks to everybody who posts!
