Very new to chickens - we got our 5 chicks on 4/15!

Buff Orpington, Barred Rock and Brown Leghorn

We have a friend that moved from here to Idaho and told us what a great site with lots of ino BYC is!
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Archery hunting, Snowmobiling, road cycling, soccer and spending lots of time with the family!
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
I have been married to a wonderful woman for almost 12 years and have 2 wonderful children: girl 7 and boy 9. We have 2 house cats: Gilligan - 24lbs and princess - 8lbs. I work at a Semiconductor Foundry in Camas, WA as a Engineering Technician.
We are very excited about having chickens now and watching how fast they grow! We (I) still need to build our coop but have decided on the style and now am just working out the final plans so that I can have it done by the first week in June!
