Hi All!
I've been reading and lurking around your forum for a couple weeks, and decided its time for me to join the flock
A little background info- my son came home after a weekend of camping &hunting and presented me with my "birthday present"- 2 week-old Rhode Island Reds. We ordered a coop kit and put it together, but sadly, it will not hold up to the elements, and is already falling apart. We decided to build an 8'x8' run around it as added protection. As with any project, it's required a number of trips to the local feed/hardware store.
On one of our trips there, we noticed a shipment of Leghorn peeps, and, well....we've added three to our family!
Looking forward to learning how to give my little peep-peeps a wonderful life.
