Newbie from Utah

Hi! I am a new "chicken mommy" from Orem Utah, and wanted to say hi!! We just bought our first 5 chicks 3 days ago and are already in love! We have 1 3-week old black sex-link, 2 red sex-links, 1 buff Orpington and 1 Americana.

We are about halfway done with our coop, and have so many questions - I am reading the forums like crazy trying to learn everything I can! I am wondering about ventilation in the coop, how long you leave your chickens out to wander during the day, do you use sand on the floor of the coop, and when you move your babies out to the coop?
