Thanks for the welcome and hello again!

I got my chicks this week: my daughter wanted one of each: Blue Andalusian, Buttercup, Black Langshan, Astrolorp and one other whose type I can't recall right now.

While our small coop is being made we have them in a plastic cat kennel indoors at night but our weather has been so warm we've had them outdoors in a large wire cage, sitting on grass during the day with a shadecloth draped over. They appear to be very curious. For extra shelter we took a recycling bin and turned it upside down so they can run in and out as needed.
