Hi 🙋🏼‍♀️!
I’m new. We live in southeast Virginia and just bought a house with a large yard. I have been wanting Chickens for years now and I am finally getting them. I don’t like to do things half hearted and I really like to have as much knowledge as I can. So I will definitely be asking questions.

First Question: We have 3 large pecan trees and I am wanting to put my coop under them. I just don’t want the dropping from the tree to be a problem for the chickens. Thoughts?

It shouldn't be a problem. Unless it bonks the chickens in the heads. 😅
