Newbie here!

Hi! I'm a newbie to the "stealth/urban" chicken world. I'm sure I will have many questions. We have 4 kiddos and we are tired of the inconsistency at the market.

For now I think I have chosen Orpington and EE as the 4 hens we will get. What do you all think? The reviews say they are pretty quiet and good layers?
