Registered because of my sis (Hi warthog!). She is an avid member who talks about this site practically every time we chat.
We have two hens who adopted us about 6 months ago. I don't know where they came from, but we found an egg two days ago!!! ( I think my sis "prayed" them here

, because she's been encouraging us to get chickens!)
They are free ranging and we can't capture them. Any hints greatly appreciated!!
Looking forward to learning lots from this site!

Welcome,

you should be able to get close to them with food, start by putting their food down in a regilar place and then stand close by, as they getused to you being there they will be more confident of you and slowly you will get to being able to feed them out of your hand.

Where do they sleep? Are they safe?

Good luck to you both,

Jena.

If you can watch and see where they sleep they will be easy to get in the evening. Once asleep they are putty in your hands. hehehe. Good luck.
