I am a brand new chicken owner. I started with 3 ducks (they are my sisters). I have always wanted chickens and now that I have the right space I am starting my journey.  I have four 4 week old chicks right now. Lemon Chaffon, a Gold Sex Link, Tootsie Roll, a Black Australorp, Kit Kat, a Gold Laced Wyandotte, and Maple, I believe she is a Gold Laced Sebright. My sister owned chickens before and Inlive being able to sit and watch them. They loved to use me as a place to sit and loved being pet. So far mine are the same. I also enjoy all the fresh eggs. I do a lot of crafts, crochet, Personalization items: cups, t-shirts, license plates, phones cases, lockets, pretty much anything. I love to create. We are a family of 5. we have 3 children, 2 boys and a girl, ages 13, 15 and 18. Our oldest is just about to graduate. My family.likes to call me a farmer with a zoo.
I'm in a couple faceboook groups and they pointed me towards this site.

What a nice little flock to start your journey! The number of birds is sure to grow as you continue though…chicken math will get to you sooner or later!

Feel free to ask any question you have! You’re sure to get lots of answer from kind, experienced, and wise people! Don’t be afraid to add in some of your own advice too! You never know who might benefit from it, or the pets’ lives you might be able to help save!
