Hello Chicken Lovers
I just bought 8 baby pullets and 4 ducks. I am totally new to chickens but grew up with ducks. I have so many questions about raising these together, along with my 2 horses, 3 dogs and 5 cats. I will be searching on the webpage to get some answers.

I have the babies in a XL dog kennel in my office so the dogs and cats can be introduced safely. I plan on moving the babies to their store bought chicken coop in the garage (semi heated) and then outside as they grow older.

Their coop will be inside the pole barn right next to the horses run-in at the side pole barn door, which is open all the time. They will be shielded from wind and rain inside at night but will be free roaming during the day, .

If you would like to share pictures and stories of your flock, you have come to the right place. BYC’ers never tire of these and do not back away slowly or commence eye rolling when the photo album or home videos come out
