Newbie in the UK

Hi all from the UK
I took delivery of three chickens on Thursday and they seem to be settling in well. I have been on here already for advice so thought I ought to join in the fun

One of my hens took almost 36 hrs to lay her egg today and its come out very pale, with an area that is darker brown with a large white spot about an inch and a half across. The other two hens laid ok today. I have gradually been changing their feed and yesterday built a fenced area so they can play without trashing the garden. Anyone got any thoughts?
