Newbie Intro

Hi all! I've been reading the board for a few months, but finally have some questions and decided to get an account and post!

We have been thinking about chickens for almost a year and this spring took the link and got four Red Star (red sex link) chicks. They are almost a month old and seem to be doing well.

I also have two kids (11 and 4) two cats, and a ShihTzu. We're turning into an urban zoo!

Hi and welcome! I love this site, and right when I found it, I wanted to join. But a week later I officialy signed up and I am SOOO glad I did!! You will become addicted like all of us in no time!

I currently have no chickens, but I am working on my dad to let me get some(my mom wants silkies). Everyone on this site is awesome, and you will get tons of helpful info!!
