Hi everyone, Julie here I am in Brisbane QLD Australia , I have a small flock of Japanese bantams & also have a few Orpington's, with 18 orpington eggs due to hatch & 12 jap batam eggs due at the same time, I think I am about to get a bit busier, as I have 2 first time mums this time round. Being in Australia we are about to head into summer. Thanks for the informative site & Facebook pages

G'day, and welcome to BYC! Glad you decided to join our flock. Buff Orpingtons are a wonderful breed. I've raised them for years and they are beautiful, hardy, friendly and gentle (my children, and now my granddaughter, made lap pets of them), and good layers of large, brown eggs. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have. We are here to help in any way we can. Good luck with your hatch.

G'day and welcome to the flock. You got the better end of the deal Christmas in summer, instead of Christmas in fridgid temps, ice, snow, ick. Santa must overheat . Did you know BYC has a large aussie community and a great aussie thread called "Australia, six states and one funny little island." Glad to have you join us.

Welcome to BYC!

You are going to have your days full with little ones! It would be fun to see some pictures of your hatches if you care to share.
