I wouldn't go with the Mother coop for so many birds. You'll notice that it's 4' by 4' and they say good for 3 or 4 chickens. I think that's about right but it falls short of the requirements for 6 and certainly 10 aren't going to fit in there.
Here's NorTracNY's coop if you are having any trouble finding the page. The design is very good and it should be comfortable for the birds especially if it goes into the barn during bad weather. At 3.5' by 5' enclosed space, the weight is becoming an issue as pointed out. Your 10 chickens would also be too many for only 17.5 square feet.
What do you think about lifting the coop higher and enclosing the space beneath it? It would then be a larger, two story affair and could be made secure. You could use the same approach with the Mother coop but . . . I like NorTracNY's design better
. To better use a first floor, I'd put the exterior nest box on that level.
You didn't say how large your doghouse is. Perhaps it would work for a 2 story structure. I've been wrestling with a design for a 7 or 8 chicken tractor and the weight of the building materials must enter the picture. Having really good large wheels would help. Really, a tractor is much better suited to 3 or 4 birds.
