I searched and didn't find the answer. Sorry for the newbie questions.

I recently bought a incubator from ebay and it is a 48 eggs Digital Temperature Control Turning. On the front panel, I can adjust temp, but can only read humidity, not adjust it.

My questions is: do I adjust humidity by using more or less water?

If yes, any experience effectively adjust humidity by adding water? for example how much water I need at beginning and how often I need to add water after that?

There is a hole on the front left corner to add water, but the channels doesn't connect together. That means the water will be added only to the front left channel. Is it a right way?

Thanks

Mike

if it is this incubator I highly Suggest to never rely on the unit itself for the temperature and humidity readings. Go and buy at least 2 more thermometers and hygrometers. I've owned three of these units and each one has never gave me true readings. But for your question yes you adjust the humidity by the temperature combined with the water. The more water you add with a higher temperature the higher the humidity will get. Also I only use about one channel when putting water in this unit. Also I've never had a unit keep temperature unless I keep the styrofoam bottom around it just for a little FYI if you can't get the temperature up.

wow, "keep the styrofoam bottom around" - good advice, I will do it. Thanks a lot
