We just got 10 baby BOs and I am dying to take them outside to hang out. They are about a week old and we live in southern Florida where it is warm. Is there any harm in taking them outside and letting them jump around in the leaves for a few minutes as long as they are contained?

I think to myself if they were with their mama free-ranging, that is what they would be doing, but I just want to be sure.

thanks all!

as long as it is warm enough, no problem. don't be surprised if they get scared and don't want to leave you/the box/whatever you carried them out in!

If it is too hot, make sure there is water to drink!

They should do fine with constant supervision. The minute they start to appear as if they are getting chilled, huddling, peeping loudly, it's time to go back under their heat lamp.
