I have hatched a few batches of chicken and quail eggs in the past and those chicks have all gone to live at my brother-in-laws hobby farm. Well, they were just so darn fun we decided to keep a few for ourselves and here we are with 28 quail (about 8 weeks old now)
We have 28 quail. 18 female, 10 male; all are Jumbo Coturnix
I found BackYardChickens.com just by looking up questions/ answers and seemed to always end up here so I thought I should join
I am a mother of 5, daycare provider to 12, wife of 1 and part time college student . Other than that I love to sew, but there's not many hours left in the day. If I could just figure out how to live without sleep I would be a happy woman!

Some day I'll join you in the fun of quail--but I'm focusing on Chickens, Turkeys and ducks at the moment.
