Hello!

I am new to chickens. Our flock of 6 is 17 weeks old. They were all bought at the same time. My two RIR girls are very different in size as well as comb and waddle development. I am just wondering if I should be concerned about their size discrepancy. I also have an EE who is the smallest of the group. She eats well and seems very healthy, but I can feel her breast bone jutting out and with much less tissue around it than the others. I have no signs of parasites or other health problems. Just looking for a little advice and wondering if I can check this off my list of concerns. We enjoy our chickens so much, I just want to be the best chicky Mom I can be!

Here is a picture taken today showing the size difference between the RIRs. There is also a noticeable difference when holding them. .

Thank you in advance for any help!

. I could be wrong, but I would think that if Big Mama was a roo she would have the greenish tail feathers and behave more like my GLW roo, like I said, I am new! What makes you think she is a roo??
