I brought home 2 laying hens on Jan 1 and I’ve been getting about 1 egg per day from them. Occasionally I’d get 2 in one day and none the next but more or less 1 per day…….
until this week. I’ve only gotten 2 eggs in the past 7 days. Total. What do you guys think? They’re both acting normal as far as I can tell. We do have other chickens but nothing has changed in the past few weeks. They are confined to a large run so there’s no way they could be hiding the eggs.

Any ideas?

One from each hen! Ohhh in the whole week… has it been colder by you? The weather affects their laying and my chickies are like that. It’s been colder here and they havent been laying as much as when it’s warm out

Its fairly common. Depending how old your hens are.. itll take them a few months to regulate when they're new layers. Stress, sunlight, diet, cold, molting, disease, and age affect egg production. Since you didn't mention any diseases or molting... it most likely they're regulating. Keep an eye but shouldn't worry too much.
