Hello byc! I have a few questions about chickens which I really should know but I don't.

1.At what age do chickens start laying eggs? (I used to know this but somehow forgot.)
2.At what age do roosters start to crow???
3. When do roosters grow spurs and what do the stubs of new spurs look like?
All this information is for a friend who has chickens in the city. (I thought it would be good to know this too.)
