Newbie to chickens and BYC...I have 2 silkie hens arriving friday

Hi guys and girls,
Thanks for letting me join! I have two silkie hens a little under a year old arriving friday...my first ever chickens and I have an a frame hutch, bedding, feeder / food and waterer all ready, plus a small bag of mixed corn to help them get used to me and incase I need to tempt them back in the coop at night!
Any advice is greatly appreciated xxx

I would not let them out of the coop for the first few days. That way they have time to learn that this is their new home and they will come back at night.
