Newbie to chickens in Oregon

I am new this raising chicken thing. We live in Springfield, Oregon. I purchased 12 baby chicks and they are now 6 weeks old. I can't believe how fast they have grown from their cuty fuzzy stage to their kinda gangly teenage stage. They are all very healthy so far and I hope they stay that way. I am looking forward to the day we can start collecting their eggs. I have really enjoyed this site, as it has provided me some very useful information.
