Newbie to Forum and Chickens

Hi! I am Shana and I am new here and new to chickens in general. We have been talking for a while about getting some for eggs. The plan was pushed a little closer today when my friend found out she couldn't have them where she lives because of a city ordinance. We can have them so she asked if we wanted them. I said yes and here I am lol. I only have a couple of pics so far because I didn't get them till this evening but will update with newer pics as soon as I can. I have no idea what they all are. She said some were bantams and thinks one is a silky (sp) and it does have black feet so I guess it is.
Well I guess i have to figure out how to add pics in here first.

Welcome from Maryland. They r sooooo cute. I don't have my babies yet, but I love bantams and silkies! Congrats!

I sometimes forget how cute chicks are!! They do grow up fast though! Are you building a coop?

Thanks you guys for the welcome! Yes we will be building a coop lol. The plan was to build one first but that didn't happen so as soon as some rain we are supposed to be getting goes away we will start on it. The bigger ones were all purchased by my friend on Mar 1 and the 2 little ones are a week old. Do any of you have any idea as to what kind they are? I will get some better photos hopefully tomorrow.
