Newbie to the site with a first time incubation in progress

Hiya

I'm Carla and i live across the pond in Jersey, Channel Islands

I'm new to chicken keeping and my (hopeful) starter flock is in the incubator at the moment. I have 6 silkie bantam eggs (black, white and partridge) and 12 mixed light sussex,white maran, black and silver maran and light sussex x rir (I think 3 of each) in the incubator on day 5.

Am resisting the urge to poke and fiddle with the inky and so far I've managed to "ignore" it for 5 days... just 16days left!!
