Hiya. I live in west Devon with my hubby, 2 grown up boys (they got it good), 4 dogs, 3 sheep, 1 billy goat, 2 budgies and numerous fish tanks....and 20+ chickens. Ive kept and raised chickens, ducks and geese for over 20 years now, but have never had them on the scale of which I do now. We have just shy of an acre and the chooks free range throughout the autumn and winter. I will be putting together a breeding group about February time and they will go in chickentopia to, hopefully, hatch and raise the chicks I'm after. In the mix of birds, I have Legbars, marans, Old English game and a mix of all. Im also hoping to raise some game and Maran crosses for meat birds next year....
