Hello and welcome to BYC! :frow

I am sorry your chick is sick. :hugs Gapeworm is very rare, more often they have a respiratory infection that makes them gasp for air. Definitely post in our Emergency forums for more help, you will no doubt be advised to start your flock on antibiotics. @Tookie has left you with the link.

Welcome to our community!

Hiya, Lee Ann, and welcome to BYC!! :frow

I'd post where @Tookie said and agree with @TwoCrows that I'd look more toward respiratory or something else as gapeworm is truly rare.

In the meantime, I'd be sure to be giving Nutra Drench or Poultry Cell in their water every other day and probiotics every other day as well to boost their immunities and help fight this whatever it turns out to be.

Good luck! I hope she gets better! :love
