Newbie very upset - the local "bird lady" yells/need encouragement

She says the Hovabator I ordered is JUNK and that I'll kill all my eggs........

I've read so much on here, and I ordered the Hovabator with the turner and the fan and the thermometer/hygrometer.

I've read that people have used these successfully.

Mine works fine. Its 3 years old now, just hatched some in it a week ago.

What model did you order? I have three 1588s and a 1590 which is the older version of the 1588. I've hatched hundreds and hundreds of chicks in mine so I don't think they're junk at all.

Plenty of people have, don't despair. Some people can be real know-it-all jerks. She should have simply shared insight on how to get the best hatch possible out of what you have.
Calibrate your hygro/thermometer, make sure your temps are holding steady, and incubate away.

I don't know about incabators but just try it and see how it goes each person has their own likes and dislikes what works for one might not work for another, want to say

Everyone has something different to say. Alot of people told me the LGs are junk and the first time i used it i had a 95% Hatch Rate, and it was also my first time incubating eggs!!!

I have a Little Giant- they are said to be worse, my first hatch was 72.6% (on 1/2 shipped eggs) and my second is 76.9% (SO FAR) with a chance to go higher.

Thank you so much. I did so much research, and I believe this one will be fine! She has humidaires and sportsmans - well, if I had that $$, I might have those too! I got the combo kit from incubator warehouse - 1602 N
