Hi chicken-obsessed fellows!

We've got eggs from our chicken-obsessed neighbor (chicken obsession comes from him as well). He assumes his initial chicken he got decades ago were of some specific breed, but he had to introduce fallen roosters from outside several times, so now he names the breed as "A chicken breed". He used to have turkeys and pigs as well, but based on the complete farming reference http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00MR27WBY ) I think they're still chicken. However, the book doesn't elaborate on the breed.
Here I need some help - if you cold name a few breeds that come into you mind while looking at them - it'd be much appreciated!
I also assume the whitish one is a rooster, though he sounds more like a donkey (according to the book).

Thanks!

Hard to see in the photo, the rooster looks like a mix but thats my opinion same with the other one. Wish i could tell for you!

Those both appear to be mixed breed roosters. Check out the long, stringy saddle feathers just at the base of their tails. Hens don't have those...

Mixed breed males, mixed enough no specific breed stands out. Kinda like my dogs

I was wondering what breed mine is as well.looks like a br.but unsure of sex

Thanks for your help. I didn't expect them to be prize-winning blue blood. They're chicken after all - enough for me to be happy. I'd be more happy if there're pullets among them, but they're still too young for the eggs.

You're welcome.
