Hello there we just received our first three chicks. We have a Barred rock, Amerecauna, and a little yellow "love child" that I would be interested in getting some guesses on her breed. I would like to add a Salmon Faverolle on Monday...bad idea? The chicks would be about a week apart give or take. So far every one is getting along even our cat and two dogs (supervised)

Hi and welcome to BYC - great that you have joined us. Assuming your new chick will be the youngest, it may be a good idea to ensure that your brooder is sufficiently large, and that you have a couple of feeding stations just to ensure that the little one can access food readily - if there's going to be an issue, it will be about access to food most likely. I've only ever raised chicks with a broody hen, so maybe another member or two can give advice based on experience.

All the best

glad you had joined us.

And congrats on starting your own flock.

Thanks for the welcome every one. I am tying to get so guesses on what breed you think this little girl is? She is from an assorted pullet bin.
