Hello my name is Candace,
I bought five chickens from a feed store this past June... It seems we have 2 roo and 3 pellets. They started laying eggs at least two of them has. I know of two of the breeds but not the other two. In my family I have 2 girls and 2 boys. My oldest girl age 7 is a bone marrow transplant patient. She had Aplastic anemia and she loves animals.... One of them are hers and she's wanting baby chicks now. I wanna try out the breeding the chickens.. I just don't know what are my chickens. I know for sure what 2 of them are because there's no denying what they are. Just need help with the others. Thank you for any help...

:welcome The birds pictured are a buff orpington pullet and most likely a black australorp pullet. Have a plan B if two roosters becomes too much for your 3 pullets.

We plan to remove and separate if they are both males... We was going to set up a selective breeding once we figure out what we have.

You can always post photos at "what breed or gender is this," for clarification. Welcome to Backyard chickens.
