I have wanted chickens for a long time and finally convinced my boyfriend! We live "in the city"(small town in Southern Michigan) and can't have a rooster so we are raising girls. We have 2 white Leghorns, 2 Rhode Island Reds and 2 "Americaunas". We are eagerly awaiting our first eggs, the girls are 16 weeks and counting. I can't believe how much fun I have with these birds, they're amazing!
