I have attached a photo of my 22 meat birds, bought them on 8/4, they were a day or two old. There's three non meat birds in there, the black one. They just needed some warm friends for now.

When I grow meat birds CX, I feed them an 18% protein non-GMO ration their entire lives and twice per day after they leave the brooder. In the brooder I'll feed them two or three times a day. Mine brood for 3 weeks and then move into portable shelters on grass and get moved daily and toward the end twice a day. I process at 8 weeks. My tractors are 2'X8'X8' and can hold up to 40 birds, but I prefer to keep it less than that.
