Welcome to BYC! As others have stated, I would say you should be able to start slowly introducing them to their coop within the next week or two. Because of our colder nights here in WNY, we waited until ours were 8-9 weeks, but your temperatures should allow for sooner introductions.

Hi and welcome to BYC!
If you have a draft free coop, your chicks should be fine outside at those temps.
I've never tried pine straw as bedding, but think it should work.
I have used nail polish before on my chicks toes. It does work, but they're super curious and try to peck it off.
