Newbie

Good afternoon!! I'm newish to chickens, and very new to ducks. We had chickens a while back, before we had children, and now my son and I are raising them again. We currently have 4 pullets, and 2 ducklings, all 5 weeks old. I'm a teacher, and my son is 13, and wanting to be a veterinarian. During our covid time off school, my son remade a storage shed into our coop, it's 9x12. We kept the chicks and ducklings separated in different brooders, and still separated by a window screen when we moved them into the coop. They are now cohabiting nicely, with plenty of space. The ducks have a dog house with hay, and the chicks have plenty of roosts. We have a 7x7 run, and plan on free ranging when we are home.
