Hi, I am new to the group. We have chickens now and they are a little over four months old now. We hatched most we have nine in total. 3 roos and 6 hens. Our hens have not started laying yet. I have a problem with my rooster Hammie he is very aggressive with the hens. Example grabbing them by the tails and there wings riping there feathers out, forcing himself on them and they are screeching and trying to take off. He also goes out of the coop in morning and trys to sneak attack them as they come out to mate with them. At night he does the same thing he goes in the coop and waits for one and then basically attacks her trying to force it . I am wondering if this can be fixed and what to do. My hens do not want to mate right now and are very stressed by him. Also I am afraid if I get rid of him does that mean my other two will start acting the same.
